About Balance Problems

In order to maintain a good balance, several body systems and organs need to work together. Such as the eyes, ears, myofascial (muscles and fascial), proprioception (the body’s sense of where it is in space, which interpret the information to be functioning properly).

When one or more of these systems or organs impaired, an individual has difficulty to maintain balance. As a result of balance problem, you may experience feelings of unsteadiness, dizziness, giddiness, feeling woozy, spinning, floating, nausea, loose coordination of limbs, special disorientation, or unable to walk or stand without staggering.

Some people may have reactions to the symptoms with fatigue, anxiety, depression, nausea, vomiting, fear, panic, changes in heart rate or blood pressure, decreased concentration and disturbed sleeping. Symptoms of balance disorder may appear and disappear over short period of time or may last for a long period of time if left untreated.
