Asthma Relief

What is Asthma?

Asthma is described as chronic inflammatory disease of the airway with narrowing of the bronchioles.   Not always but commonly asthma symptoms begins childhood.  The inflammatory condition and narrowing of the bronchioles restricts the flow of air through the airways.

Asthma is characterized by variable and recurring symptoms.  Breathing is most difficult and it could causes increased production of sputum (phlegm).

The severity of asthma symptoms may vary among those individuals.

The airways among these asthma suffers seems sensitive to certain substances, when inhaled certain substances cause the airways to react by tightening the muscles surrounding the airway or the chest, this even makes more difficulty for air pass through.

Asthma Attack

Asthma attack is commonly referred to as an acute asthma exacerbation. Asthma attack may be due to exposure to asthma triggers or perhaps from overdoing exercising or labor intense work.

The primary symptoms of asthma attack are shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest tightness.  Other symptoms of an asthma attack may include persistent coughing, rapid breathing, sweating face, pale, chest pain, and pressure increase in chest.

Asthma attack may also have the symptoms of retraction (tightened neck or chest muscles), difficulty talking, and difficulty performing normal daily activities, anxiety or panic.

With asthma attack or acute asthma that you need make your own judgment seeking proper medical attention.

Asthma Triggers

There are certain triggers that could bring on an asthma attack or worsen the asthma symptoms due to the sensitivity of the airway with asthma. Those triggers could be different to individuals and severity of the resulting asthma attack could vary.

Common triggers could cause asthma attack or worsen the asthma symptoms are allergens such as dust, dander, grass, pollen, mold; inhaled substances such as smoke, chemicals, perfumes, and workplace environment.

Asthma triggers may also include air pollution, breathing cold air, certain medications, cold weather or changing weathers, exercise and physical activity.

Causes of Asthma

Causes of asthma may not be fully understood, common contributing factors may include food allergy that may cause immediate asthma attack, or delayed patterns of asthma symptoms that could be chronicle or persistent.

Causes of asthma could be due to weather changing, exposure to cold weather, over excises or physical activities.  Also many air bone substances could cause asthma to certain individuals.

One of the factors that may contribute to the production of asthma symptoms is the muscle, fascia (the covering of the muscle and organs) and other soft tissues.  Example of the diaphragm muscle, intercostals muscle and many other muscles surrounding or supporting the respiratory system.

To normalize the function of the muscular system and other soft tissues could help relieve many of the symptoms produced by asthma or asthma like symptoms you may experience.
