Registered Massage Therapist

Registered massage therapists or massage therapists in Ontario have been registered by the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario.  Registered massage therapists complete education at educational institutions recognized by the Government of Ontario.   Registered massage therapists have to complete an extensive 2200 hour course and a minimum of 150 clinical hours.  Registered massage therapists also have top study anatomy, physiology, pathology, physical assessment, neurology, treatments, ethics and other subjects.

Registered massage therapists need to maintain their registration by participating in continue education and a Quality Assurance Program that assist in maintain high professional standards and quality care of the clients.
